If we’re going to talk about oppressive lyrics why aren’t we talking about country or rock like the Guns n Roses song One in a Million where you have anti-black slurs and sentiment, anto-immigrant sentiments, and homophobia.
Axl Rose later during an interview said he was pro-heterosexual and didn’t understand gay people.
But nah, ya’ll gonna go after rap music and claim that music genre’s dominated by PoCs are homophobic while ignoring music made by white people no matter what oppressive sentiments the songs reflect.

Don’t worry, I’ll wait.

BUT RAP IS SO RACIST AND MISOGYNISTIC RIGHT?
RIGHT?

the space between “be careful with who you let into your world” and “don’t shy away from how you feel.” when being cautious has led me to a cave and being open minded left me too open…. this space is so vast.

balance is what i seek.

I hate missing people who don’t give a damn. I’m such a fool.

99-Year-Old Lady Sews A Dress A Day For Children In Need

Lillian Weber, a 99-year-old good Samaritan from Iowa, has spent the last few years sewing a dress a day for the Little Dresses For Africa charity, a Christian organization that distributes dresses to children in need in Africa and elsewhere.

Weber’s goal is to make 1,000 dresses by the time she turns 100 on May 6th. So far, she’s made more than 840. Though she says she could make two a day, she only makes one – but each single dress she makes per day is personalized with careful stitchwork. She hopes that each little girl who receives her dress can take pride in her new garment.
